Wind Turbine Calculations and Selection in a Specific Region

In this project study, a wind turbine calculation was made using the wind values of a region and turbine selection was made. In the project, with the wind data of the region; calculating the average wind speed and power, understanding the difference between them by drawing Rayleigh and Weibull distribution graphs, selecting the wind turbine according to the desired nominal power value and making comparisons between the turbines by considering different parametric features, using the values of the most compatible Rayleigh and Weibull curves with the capacity factor, annual production and efficiency calculations according to the selected wind turbine, the best results were obtained.
