Y-32 Bogie Design and Structural Analysis

In this project study, Y32 Bogie design was made using the methods of determining the exceptional conditions of the bogie chassis of the bogies used in trains in the Ts En 13749 standard. For the calculations, the exceptional and normal loads occurring in the trains were calculated in accordance with the TS EN 13749 standard and the forces acting on the bogie in loading conditions. Since the Y32 bogie falls into the B-I category in the bogie classification made in the standard, calculations were made on the equations specified under this category. After the necessary calculations were made, the stresses occurring in the Overload and Normal Load conditions were obtained and solution suggestions were presented in the necessary parts.
